One of the most popular cooking experts and chefs in Pakistan Zubaida Tariq passed away in Karachi on Friday. She was ill and had been under care at her home. Her family sources have also confirmed the news and are also been announced on Pakistan’s top TV channels. Her funeral prayers also took place in the Karachi’s Sultan Masjid near her home in Defence Housing Authority, Karachi. The news of Zubaida Aapa death shook the nation and everyone equally shared the sorrow with the family.
She was born in 1945 in Hyderabad Deccan in 1945. She belongs to a very educated and respected family in Pakistan. Her brother Anwar Maqsood is a well-known personality and her both sisters Fatimah Surayya Bajia and Zehra Nigah are also among well-known personalities. Her brother Anwar Maqsood is a well-known playwright and satirist and her sister too was a playwright who passed away earlier.

She moved to Pakistan with her family on 18th September 1948. 6 days after our dear Quaid Muhammad Ali Jinnah died and the Indian army invaded the state of Hyderabad.
