Movies are a source of enjoyment in a free time for many people then there are people who love watching movies. Bollywood is an industry of entertainment enthusiasts who make movies to provide amazing three hours entertainment to people who love watching movies.  A number of movies release every day in Bollywood, but only a few of them are able to make position in top ten movies of all time charts. Here we are talking about Bollywood’s top grossing movies of all time.

1) DDLJ:

An Indian classic love story released in 1995 tops the list of our top ten movies of all time. Starring Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol in main roles, the movie was a super hit back in its time. DDLJ belongs to the genre romantic drama which is Bollywood’s trademark genre. The movie was directed by Aditya Chopra and produced by Yash Chopra.

2) Amitabh Bachan’s classic Sholay:

No top grossing movies of all time lists are complete without Sholay. Starring Amitabh Bachchan, Hema Malini and Sachin Piogonkar in the lead roles, the movie is an action-adventure film. It was released in 1975 and broke all the records of Bollywood film industry. Ramesh Sippy is the director while it was written by Javed Akhtar and Salim Khan.

Another film starring Amitabh Bachchan, Amir Khan, Kulbhushan that was loved by the Indian fans is Lagaan. It was a sports drama film which was released in 2001. The movies strong story and the plot made it a classic hit in the industry and also in our best movies of all time charts.

Released in 2003, Munna Bhai M.B.B.S is an Indian comedy film. The star-studded film with Sanjay Dutt, Sunil Dutt and Gracy Singh in lead roles was a great hit of its year. The duo of Vidhu Vinod Chopra and Rajkumar Hirani brought this amazing 3-hours entertainment to the Indian film lovers.

5) Shahrukh, Salman Starrer Kuch Kuch Hota Hai:

Arch Rivals of today Shah Rukh and Salman worked in same movie Kuch Kuch Hota Hai back in 1998. Though the two were also seen together in many others movies but KKHH holds a certain place in top grossing movies of all time. Written and directed by Karan Johar, Salman had a guest appearance in the film. It was Shah Rukh’s and Kajol’s fourth film together.

Directed by Priyadarshan and starring Paresh Rawal, Sunil Shetty, Tabu and Akshay Kumar, Hera Pheri is a comedy film. It was released in 2000 and soon made its place in best movies of all time Bollywood has produced. The film is a perfect entertainment even at the current time.

7) Another Shah Rukh starrer Kal Ho Na Ho:

No doubt Shah Rukh is the king of Bollywood. He gave several super duper hits and Kal Ho Na ho is one of them. With Preity Zinta and Kajol showcasing their acting talent, the movie is a romantic-drama film. It made its appearance on the Indian cinema screens in 2003.

8) Barfi:

Barfi is my favorite film in the list of top ten movies of all time. The acting performance of both lead actors Ranbir Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra was something never seen before. Ilena D`Cruz was also in the films lead role. A typical drama film of Bollywood, Barfi was directed by Anurag Basu.

9) Gangs Of WasseyPur:

The story of crime Gangs of wasseypur is definitely one of the best movies of all time. Directed by Anurag Kashyap, the movie made it to the big screen in 2012. It is the only movies whose second part was released just after two months. Starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Manoj Bajpayee and Human Qureshi, the movie is the best of its kind.

10) Amir’s another venture 3 Idiots:

“All Is Well”, you know this dialog very much. Yes, it’s rancho philosophy of fighting to the hardships of life. Inspired by the novel Five Point Someone, 3 Idiots stars, Amir, R. Madhavan, Sharman Joshi and Kareena Kapoor. Released in 2009, it was the highest grossing of Bollywood in 2009. It is one of few Indian movies which made it into the IMDB database.
